It’s almost summer time and that means lot of BBQ’s and family fun. With Memorial Day, Graduation Parties and Fourth of July right around the corner I thought I would share my favorite Summer treat with you guys! It’s called the Ice Cream Sandwich Cake. It is one of the EASIEST cakes ever. You don’t have to bake anything. In fact, it only takes a few minutes to assemble. Not to mention it WOW’S guests! Now this really is not the type of cake you would bring to a BBQ because it melts quickly, especially if it is hot out. You can always bring the ingredients and assemble it at the party. Otherwise I would suggest serving it at a BBQ that you are hosting. Let us know how your Ice Cream Sandwich Cake turns out!
INGREDIENTS:
- Hot fudge and Carmel Topping (preferably squeeze container)
- 2 tubs of COOL WHIP frosting
- 18 ice cream sandwiches (you can get whatever flavors you like)
- Cherries/Strawberries/Candy or any other topping you love
Directions:
- ARRANGE 6 ice cream sandwiches and cover with some of the cool whip. Repeat layers. You should have 3 layers. Frost with remaining Cool Whip.
- ADD Toppings. Do not warm up fudge or Caramel.
- FREEZE 4 hours and enjoy.
